The image is taken inside Soberania national park on the Boat and Jungle Photo Tour. Panama is famous for the great biodiversity. We have for instance 982 different bird species, and 220 mammals. The landscapes and nature types have also great variety like rain forests, mountains, rivers, lakes, coasts, desert and more. Our tours have a maximum of 4 participants per tour. I am looking forward to come back to this unique area I have explored so many times over the years. I am also looking forward to meet the workshop participants, which come from three countries this year. American Crocodile at Coiba Island (national park), Pacific coast, Panama. This huge crocodile have had its territory in a bay on the island for over twenty years, and the national park rangers from ANAM have given him the name Tito. He is probably more than 30 years old. Black Vultures at sunrise, Isla de Coiba, Panama. You don’t always have to use the long lens to photograph wildlife. Very often, I use a wide-angle lens and try to include the wildlife in the landscape and the environment they live in. So is it landscape- or wildlife photography? Nature has no clear definitions and borders, so I choose to call it a more complete nature photography. Here is a picture from the Photo Workshop at the island Runde, Norway, April 22-26, 2015.
